CHARACTERISTICS OF SITUATIONAL TEACHING OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
Abstract: The article is devoted to the main theoretical provisions of situational teaching of English grammar to high school students. The author considers various formulations of didactic categories related to situational learning and the communicative method. It is shown that this goal can be achieved by changing the nature of the motivation of educational activities for students and restructuring its structure. The author reveals that the pedagogical process can be effective only if communication also acts as a means of teaching: communication training involves the conscious assimilation of not only lexical, but also grammatical units, which is one of the most important aspects of teaching foreign languages, since full-fledged communication cannot occur in the absence of a grammatical basis.БИБЛИОГРАФИЯ
